Front Side view

ENGINE
  • Strengthened and stitch welded engine bay.
  • Vauxhall Cavalier GSI 2.016v engine, gearbox and ancillaries.
  • Skimmed head.
  • New water pump, oil, leads, timing belt etc (50k miles on the engine).
  • SFi system.
  • K&N air filter.
  • High flow radiator, GTE fan.
  • Courtney uprated engine mount conversion.
  • Courtney uprated driveshafts (up tp 300Bhp).
  • Rocker cover painted the same colour as car bodywork.
  • GSi fuel tank, sender unit and new fuel lines.
  • Vauxhall sports stainless steel manifold mated to full magnex sports exhaust system.

    • EXTERIOR
  • Novadose front and rear bumper with sideskirts, blended into bodywork.
  • Roofspoiler, de-locked, GSi modified grill, gold mesh for bumpers and grill.
  • Vauxhall Velvet green paintwork, with additional mix to throw colour.
  • Alloy fuel cap.
  • Cut in bonnet vents and white indicators.
  • Car was in the spray shop for over a month while the work was carried out, had two new wings fitted because the original wings had been dented along the top where the engines had been in and out all the time.
  • Strengthened lower front wishbones, fitted with powerflex polyurethane bushes.
  • 256mm rear disc brake conversion with powerflex uprated bushes.
  • Alloy roller bearing top mounts fitted to front struts.
  • New 256mm vented discs with EBC pads to front.
  • Spax uprated sports suspension, shocks and springs.
  • Smiths 16" alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot 195x45x16s.

  • Custom door panels.
  • Black front and rear Recaro leather interior.
  • GSi steering wheel.
  • Light and dark tint fitted.
  • Astra GTE LCD clock conversion.

  • Car started life as a Vauxhall Nova 1.2 Merit, previous owner fitted the following engines:-
    1.6, 1.8, 2.0i 8v SRi.
    Then I had the car and replaced the engine etc, new conversion, wheels, tyres, brakes and loads more, in total car owes me over £10k.
